LEATHER

To maintain and preserve your Strathberry product, care should be taken to avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics. Prolonged and direct exposure to sources of light and heat should also be avoided. If your product gets wet, remove any excess moisture by dabbing lightly with a soft dry cloth and dry at room temperature. If the metal hardware on your product becomes discoloured, use a dry jewellery cleaning cloth to remove any tarnishing.

It is possible for colour variations and markings to appear in the leather. These are naturally occurring features that add to the uniqueness of your Strathberry product and should not be thought of as imperfections. Due to the manufacturing process our leathers may cause colour transfer, especially in humid environments. Please keep this in mind, particularly when wearing light colours.

When not in use we recommend storing your product in a cool dry place, in the Strathberry dust bag which accompanied it.

CASHMERE

We want you to enjoy your Strathberry cashmere for years to come. Please ensure the care label instructions for washing are followed carefully for each specific product, or are dry-cleaned as instructed. We recommend storing the product flat in a bag with cedar balls to keep the cashmere beautifully fresh and to deter moths.

Due to the natural characteristics of cashmere, pilling may eventually occur but can easily be removed by gently brushing the surface with a cashmere comb.

We advise avoiding hanging our cashmere products, as it will distort the fragile fibres and lose the garment’s shape. Store folded and flat, away from direct sunlight and preferably in a sweater bag.

SILKS

Please always follow the care label for washing instructions and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight. We recommend storing your Strathberry silk product flat and untied, and care should be taken to avoid contact with water and oils and prolonged exposure to sources of light and heat.

JEWELLERY

To preserve the lustre and longevity of your jewellery, we have included the following care instructions:

  • Remove jewellery before going to bed, bathing, or performing sports or physical activity.
  • Avoid contact with agents such as perfume, cosmetics, household bleach and other cleaning products.

To clean your jewellery, we recommend using a soft dry polishing cloth. Do not use paper towels or tissue paper as these can cause surface scratches.
Avoid exposing your jewellery to extreme heat, humidity, or direct sunlight.
If your jewellery has leather components and gets wet, remove any excess moisture by dabbing lightly with a soft cloth and dry at room temperature.

We recommend that you store your jewellery in its original Strathberry packaging provided.

FAULTY ITEMS

All Strathberry products are skilfully handcrafted to the highest standards, but as with anything made by hand from natural materials, we know that on the rarest of occasions, faults can occur.

We always want to be there to assist you, so in the unlikely event that a manufacturing fault arises within a period of 12 months after the date of purchase, we are happy to either repair, replace or refund the item - at no additional cost to the purchaser.

Proof of purchase from strathberry.com or one of our standalone boutiques will be required, as all items purchased from one of our wholesale partners must be returned directly to them.

In cases of wear and tear, where a fault has occurred through general use, we ask that you get in touch to discuss whether a repair, at a cost to the purchaser, is possible.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
